Where can i file a case against nursing home for medical negligence.

12-Dec-2023 (In Medical Negligence Law)
My father was taken to a pvt nursing home for emergency dialysis as suggested by his doctor. He already had heart disease and kidney dysfunction. He was kept in ICU and his dialysis was done. Then is bp started dripping down and he had a cardiac arrest which led to his death. his bp could not be made stable even in ICU.. That nursing home is a small place and not a specialized place for such complicated patients like my father but the doctors didn't suggest us to shift him to some speciality hospital. When he died they didn't give us what treatment they gave him after The cardiac arrest only the bills. Can I file a complaint against the hospital that they didn't suggest us because they were not properly equipped. They dont even have a cardiologist or Nephrolgist on board and they admit patients with kidney disease and heart disease

Yes, it is clear case of negligence on the part of the nursing home and doctors. you should serve a legal notice through a lawyer demanding history /records of the patient, diagnosis , care and treatment etc. provided by them to the patient and compensation for death of your father. Thereafter file a case in consumer court.
