What action can be taken against the Tenant if he disappears ?

my tenant has not paid the rent from last 3 months and has disappeared. he has also taken money from the local people. they are coming to me and asking me money what my tenant has taken. in this case what should i do. i have spoken to the person and have asked him to give it in writing the permission to sell his goods and recover my money and money of the people. but now people are not allowing me to sell that as well. in this case what should i do? what legal action can be taken?

You and your tenant can enter in to formal agreement, where in your tenant has to offer to vacate the premises and admit the rent dues payable by him to you also he should offer to sell the equipments placed in your premises for a certain price & request you to adjust that amount towards dues payable to you.

You should sign the agreement agreeing to accept the offer and purchase the equipment from him to become the rightful owner and absolve tenent from the said liability to that extent.

After executing this agreement, you as the absolute owner, can sell tge equipment and can take possession of the premises. If anybody interferes when you are selling the equipments you have purchased from your erstwhile tenant, approach police seeking protection.
