Need to exit apartment association

Hi,
I recently brought a flat and there was a existing association. But recently found out that association was registered under Karnataka Society Association Act 1960 which is not ment for apartment/flats.
Now there started threatening to enforce rules for ever small things and to take away Anything kept outside the house.
Now I want to get out of paying that association under Below Reasons
1. Association Is Not rehistered Under the Correct Law.
2. Association Members are threatening to take away out personal stuff

Get issue a legal notice. You will have strong remedy either to get back your purchase price with damages or only damages. Before issuing any legal notice it is better to check the details in the concerned office and obtain the copy of societies aims and objectives etc. And also study the recitals of sale deed between the lines.
