What are the main points to note while signing an employment agreement? Is it legally valid if the agreement is printed on company letter head? What are the points to check in arbitration and jurisdiction sections and is it mandatory to have other witnesses other than employer and employee?
The author has not posed any real problem. Yes, it is a fact that nowadays that employers are imposing many a restriction through agreements. However, all such agreements are subject to the Laws of the Country. No employer is competent to impose private legislation through a contract. Please note any condition opposed to public policy is void.
