Remedies for delayed response in crediting Provident Fund

12-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I was working with one of the mncs in Gurgaon but unfortunately due to some reasons our client did not renew due to which I lost my job. I was jobless from jan17 to March 17. The only resort for me to survive was credit cards. I was using my credit card and thought to pay the bill once I get the pf. I've applied for my PF on 4th May 2017 and as per the timeline the pf should have been credited in my bank account within 14 days but that's not been done. I've visited their office in Gurgaon but all they say is to wait for some more time. Due to delay in getting my PF I missed some of my credit card payments and this resulted in negative marking on my cibil and due to this my personal loan was rejected by the bank. I want to file a case against the pf office Gurgaon and is there anyway by which I can also get my loan approved ??

First thing I would like to know from you is how long you worked in that company? You will have to find out the reason behind delay in crediting your PF. Further you can send a legal notice against the authority which denied your PF. You can avail other legal remedies after a reply.
