False harassment case at work place

I hv a ques regdg false complain made by line manger, hr deptt harassment. I am working in a power plant in jhajjar Haryana in a MNC, My earlier line manger has made complaint in hr deptt of party in which I have abused him which is not the case I hvn't abused him,evn that party was personal in nature & took plc outside control boundary of my compy not even comes in extended workplace,dat party happened in april15, & complain was made in December 15 & enquiry was started in march16,even my appraisal was ruined on pretext of line mgr & hr enquiry is causing mental agony,wat 2 do

Where the internal inquiry against you is concerned, you will have to face it and let it take its own course. You must take a steady line of argument about the case being false and must produce the necessary evidence and most importantly the reason for the person to wrongly accuse you. You can in turn also file a case of mental harassment against the person who has wrongly accused you. However, it would be advisable to file after the internal inquiry against you is over and is in your favour as it will strengthen your case. With respect to your appraisal you must check the company rules if merely an accusation against you can be used to deny appraisal. You may seek legal help accordingly thereafter.
