Can govt job be denied on the basis of previously closed case

I have selected for teacher in ordnance factory of center govt.authority disqualified or unfit me because I have ticked no as quiestion of have you ever been arrested and have you ever been prosicuted.police submitted my Pvr report that a fir had been lodged on 23/12/2009 under section 323/324/506 r/w 34 of ipc and aquitted on 8/7/2015.i have ticked as no because I was on anticipatory bail and case was closed before applied for job.and I have no legal knowledge while filling the attestation form .can I get my appointment

Merely being an accused in a case doesn't makes you an unfit personality for any sort of appointment unless that being a henious crime. To add further to it, once you have been acquitted from any case then that means you had never done any wrong in your life. So you are fit to get a job. All the best for your future.

The question that was asked to you was that have you ever been arrested or prosecuted. First of all ignorance of law is no excuse. You were booked under Sec 323/324/506 read with 34 IPC. The information sought from you was about your history of getting involved in any sort of crime which you were involved in the past. Moreover its a govt. entity so you should have marked it as yes.
