Wife creating issue in daughter's marriage and not letting her marry

Hi,

if you daughter wish to marry, you can marry her. but you can't marry forcefully to you daughter. if your daughter is agree for marriage than no problem.

I am presently living in Delhi and employed with a Pvt. Co. My problem is very serious: I want to do marriage of my daugter aged about 24+ but my wife is creating obstacle in her marriage. She want that daughte should earn so that she lives a lavish life. I educated my daughter upto CA (Inter). Now she is pursuing for CA (Final). My son aged 22 years is also under full control of her mother. I will retire in next three years therefore I wish to marry my daughter in next one year. My wife is a short tempered woman, cruel, misbehaved me oftenly, she does not perform wife's duty.

Sir,

Play some hide and seek and get your daughter married, don't waste the life of your daughter because of your wife petty petty issues.

In such a scenario the only thing that matters is the wishes of your daughter. For a valid marriage it should be entered with the consent of both the Husband and Wife. Thus, the consent of your daughter has to be ascertained. You can approach the court for judicial separation or divorce against your wife on the grounds of cruelty however, when it comes to your daughters marriage her consent is the sole criteria.

What do you want sir? If the issue is only related to the marriage of your daughter, no court can help you out. Your daughter has sole right to whom and when she wants to marry. If you are fed up with your wife and want to dissolve the marriage or you want to be separated then court will come to rescue you. Your problem has not the legal one. It is matter of having two ways of looking one issue. Talk to your wife and if you really want to take some tough decision you can revert me. All the best.

as a guardian mother and father are both natural guardian of your daughter and your daughter is major.if your daughter is accepting the marriage at the advice of father.consent of mother is immaterial.you can marry you daughter with a suitable relation.
