Physically harassed by father how can I protect myself

me , my sisters and my mother has been victims of physical violence which is getting worse. I want to know how can we get police protection and will my mother be eligible to claim for property from my father's share?
You can file domestic violance complaint against your father and also can file a criminal compalint in the concerned police station. You can also claim maintainance and property rights peovided by the court of law after 2005
