Parents not allowing me to marry my boyfriend what can i do

Im frm jatt sikh family n my bf is Patel , we want to get married but my parents refused my proposl to marry hin due to caste prob they haven’t left any option for me n ask to forget him, we r in relationship frm past 10 years so its vry hard for me , pls help mee I can't leave him bcoz he loves me more than I love myself plzz help me plzzzz Nd my parents are giving me so much pain they use to tell me abuse words Nd they are telling thay will kill my bf my dad use to tell me every day that they will kill him anyhow I hate my parents plzzzzz help me i want to marry my bf me Nd my bf both lives in one society in one block in one row so plzzzz help me I need help Nd I want to protect him from my family... . Plzzz help

As per your statement you are in relation since last 10 years and you are not able to forgot your b-friend. Two things
first one is Every parents thinks maximum welfare of his / her child. They think in right way.
Second No one take law in its own hand. You are having option to run away and get marriage with your b-friend.
Choice is your and decision is your.
Once you take decision it is for ever. Look out your family values, Brother / sisters, Parents. Etc.

First of all relax. You both are major and so no one can force u. U can marry the person of your choice. In anyone , even your parents are harassing you, you can approach the nearest police station and seek help police protection also..so how and when to do ? You can marry with your boyfriend by way of special marriage act. If your age is more than 18 years you are sole proprietor to take the decision to marry any of your dream person. Your parents has no any right to take decisions regarding marriage. In short you may marry by way of love marriage.

we are here for legal opinion and as per law if you are above 18 and your bf is above 21 no one can stop you to marry with each other. and if anyone do that then it will be a crime. you can get help of police and you can also get help of some women institute who can help you out in this matter. you can also consult lawyer for the same.

Legally there is no restrictions to get married if you both are major. As far as threat from your family is concerned you can get police protection by making an application to the local police station
