Yes you have to file a complaint against your husband and against his family member and you can also file a complaint in court under domestic violence against your husband and you can also file a maintenance case against your husband

First of all ...if u have received any injury or abrasions on body...go to hospital for MLR and after that explain all facts to lawyer and he will draft an application for you to lodge complaint before police ....even before that u can directly go to police station and lodge DDR .after that all law is in your favour so no need to worry..u can file cases for maintenance & domestic voilence also

Being a hindu married wife you have right to shelter and maintenance alongwith the right to live a dignify life. If you are being harrased on the pretext of dowery demand then straight way lodge a complaint before police otherwise you can file a complaint before court under domestic violance act for demanding shelter and etc.

First of all make a police complaint, and explain everything in detail in your complaint regarding the acts of cruelty, physical and mental torture , make sure that your statement before the police should be complete, after that you have other rights to file DV case and maintenance case in the court where you are staying presently.
