09-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
We got marrid in 2012 secretly in a temple and were waiting for our parents approval. In Dec 2016, my husband had a fight at his place and got married without informing me. How to get him back legally?

If you have proofs to prove that your marriage was performed in the year 2012, you can file a bigamy against your husband and the second wife of your husband. Now where your husband is staying.

Hello,

If you are having proof of your marriage at the temple like marriage photographs/ marriage certificate issued by the temple authorities suggesting you as the legally wedded wife of your husband and also if you are having evidence to show that your husband married again, you can file a case of bigamy against your husband under 494 IPC as second marriage during subsistence of first marriage is illegal. If not, you can also file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights before the jurisdictional family court for reunion.

Dear Client,
Where is your husband. Whether he is at his house leaving you. Whether you have valid evidence that you married your husband. If so file a police complaint before police station that he married you earlier and thereafter he married another woman. It amounts to bigamy. Then he and his newly married wife will be put under judicial custody. If you have strong evidence of your marriage, then you convey the same to him that you are going to lodge a private complaint about his second marriage. Try to resolve the issue smoothly before lodging police complaint. If he did not heed your words then take stern action against him, his second wife and his family members.
