Yes, After the amendment of the Hindu succession act, if the ancestral peroperty have not partitioned till 20th December 2004 then the women's in the family can claim share in the ancestral property.Asif, if the father died after September 9, 2005 then the daughter of the deceased have equal right in the father's property asif the Son. In your case your father died in the year of 2007 without leaving a Will , so you have equal rights in yours father's asif the other male heirs. You can seek your share by filing the partition suit, incase if they refused to give your share .

Hi,
Need some more details. However, you will be entitled to a share as per law. As you father died without leaving a legally valid will, the property will devolve on legal heirs based on law of succession.
