Can parents disown daughter for having an affair with married man

What are the chances for the parents of a unmarried hindu women having an illegal affair with married hindu man and not listening to the parents. Can the parents go ahead legally on her illegal affair. What are the possible ways..v.much help needed
If the woman is a major ( a woman means a major ) legally there is nothing for the parents to do because they are not legally affected. But they can disown her, and is she is not otherwise a co-parcener to any ancestral property , send her out of their house.

If she is an adult and has decided to have an affair with a married man, it is her personal decision and there is nothing much you can do about it. You may try to approach the married man and try to put some sense into him and file police complaint on him

In case if she is major and she is capable of taking decision to her life, then there is a problem her to restrict.
In your case, if parents can file a complaint for the illegal act. On the other side, if the wife of that man file the complaint under Adultery. If it was done, it may be go beyond her imagination.
