Can I deny maintenance to wife

My wife is living separately by her choice, asking for maintenance, can I deny it. I have already filed application under 9A.
Jab apki wife apse bina kisi reasonable reason ke alag rah rahi he or apke saath rahne se mana karti he toh ap maintenance dene se mana kar sakte he iske liye provision he and apne toh section9 bhi file kar rakha he

First I want to tell u that its not 9A its sec 9 HMA....you can't deny maintenance just becoz ur wife living separately...u have to pay a minimum maintenance..... But if your wife is living in adultery than u can Deny for maintenance.

dear friend , if she will not appear in the court in section 9 HMA case and the case is decided as ex parte it will be a ground for divorce and a good defence in 125 cr.p.c Proceeding to avoid maintenance.
