Procedure for change in name & dob in CBSE 10th certificate

My son has passed his 10th class in 2014 from CBSE board.HIs name and DOB have been wrongly entered in his marksheet & TC (feeding error). All necessary papers required for correction(not change) have been obtained from school.More then 2 years have passed since his passing 10th class.I may please be referred to a lawer from Allahabad who can help me out.Iam from Hardoi (UP).
The right procedure is getting a notice published in a local News Paper, regarding your intention to change your name/or add surname to it, and subsequently get it published in Gazette of India.
These days Gazette prints have been discontinued, so you may have to check with concerned press in your city, if they still print the Gazette Notification, or it is given to you in soft copy.
