Can brother be given POA

my divorce case is going on in allahabad, can i give poa to my brother to appear in the court on my behalf

If case is listed for evidence court will not permit poa . if you are unabe to appear before court, you may kindly file adjournment application for next date and hire a lawyer for handle the case to avoid any future complications of case.

Why are you want to give. Power of attorney to your brother .you didn't write where are you staying .yes in some circumstances you may give power of attorney to your brother if you couldn't attend the proceedings

In matrimonial case the presence of the parties Is mandatory as per the Family court Act But the submission may be Made before the court concern it will be discretion of the court to consider your prayet
