How to deal with harassment from guardian

06-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Sir/Madam, I am a 20 year old girl. I ran away from home because my guardian forcefully and emotionally confined me in home. I ran away and meet my boyfriend who is 21 yrs 2 months old and now I am staying with him. I am much feared that my guardian will use there power and money to find me out through police and they could also file a FIR against my boyfriend falsely accusing him for my kidnap. Please suggest me measures that I must take sir also please tell me that am I legally weak or strong.

According to section 3 of Indian majority act a person attains majority at the age of 18 years irrespective of the fact that a guardian has been appointed .

The very first thing that you should do is file a complaint against your guardian in the local police station. And then file a case under section 39(d) of Guardian and Wards Act for removal of Guardian
