if you have filed a FIR then you need not visit the court as the state will fight for you i.e. (public prosecutor) and when the proceedings are initiated you will come to know of it when notice of the court is served on you for your examination in chief/ cross examination. As 307 is a non bailable offense it will be tried in the court of session/district court you can visit your local police station to get more information

Hello,

If you have filed an FIR u/s 307 against anyone and if the Accused is already arrested, the accused will first file an Application for Bail and if not yet Arrested, the Accused will file an Anticipatory Bail Application before the Court. Right now at the most you can only file an INTERVENTION APPLICATION for opposing his Bail and if he has already been granted bail, then you can file an Application before the Same Court for CANCELLATION OF BAIL to the Accused.

After that stage, once the Trial Procedure starts, there is nothing you can do apart from being a Witness and testifying against the Witness.

If in worst case scenario, he is Acquitted in the Trial Case, then you can File an Appeal in the Appellate Court against his Acquittal.

You are advised to file intervene application in court and intervene his bail. He should not get bail if you will interne and at the same time you will be aware that what is going on in the case. So please file intervene application in court.
