Want to get call records of a suspected person

I have doubt on maid for the theft of my jewellery.police is doing nothing.I want to know dat how many days it takes to get call details records legally..thanks
It is the investigative agencies who can put call on trace, you need to register a FIR and if police is not registering then under 156(3) can be used by you, which enable magistrate to issue a FIR against the accused.
