Is there any exceptions to doctrine of attornment creating new tenancy?pls suggest citations of sc.Mistake in attornment can be pleaded or not in a suit of eviction through ejectment of tenant by lanlord.Pls suggest citations. Thanks
Section 116 applies to the person who takes it on rent from person in possession so the new tenant is estopped from denying the possession of the person in possession who gave it on rent . No exceptions to this rule .
