How to recover lost vehicle

27-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hi , 2 years back I had transported my vehicle from gurgaon to Jaipur.however my transporter didn't deliver leaving me with no option but to file an FIR. After more than 2 years I have recently received letter from Gurgaon PS of having found my vehicle. Now since I have shifted to Bangalore ,can I authorise somebody on my behalf to collect the vehicle. They have given me 7 days time to collect the vehicle or it will be put to auction.

Yes, you can. Send an authority letter mentioning the name, father's name, address and aadhar card no. of yours and of the person whom you want to authorise. Also send a copy of your identity proof alongwith an authority letter.
