how to claim right over property without survey no.

I bought two sites in bangalore during 2004 from my friend who is running real estate business.He didnot demark the sites that time and told me he will do that.Recently when I tried to take khatha and pay tax it is found that in the sale deed there is no survey nos.Only the proof is saled deed is having digital photos of both parties( buyer and vendor ).Only site nos mentioned .Is there any solution for me to claim the property.In the Mutation register ( Bhoomi records ) he is holding land.
