Acceptance of legal notice by familiy member if addressee is dead

22-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello. My uncle at village (due to permanent address of village was given to banks) received legal notice by Register Post AD and the addressee of the Post AD Is my father who died 2 years ago. My uncle didn't accept the Post AD and asked me the address of my current resident to give the information to postman. He also informed postman that my father is already died. So, I think I am may receive legal register AD at my current house next time for my father. Should I accept the legal Register AD? Or Should I inform the postman about my father's death?

you Can accept the notice. However you can tell the postman that the recipient of this notice is dead and you are receiving it on his behalf. The postman will convey the same to the sender of the notice. You can look into the terms of the notice and hire a lawyer if you think it puts you in some difficulty.
