How to recover money lent to a friend ?

23-Jan-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I given Rs. 21 lakhs to a person for interest of Rs. 2.25/- and he returned 7 lakhs only and pending 14 lakhs for last few years. No interest is paid for that and the interest pending is equal to that amount. My problem is I have cheque which was issue in Year 2010 by that person and don't have any other proofs. Please let me know how to handle him

Hello,

You have received a cheque in the year of 2010 but ensure whether the cheque is valid or not because 2010 RBI (Reserve Bank of India) Introduced CTS Cheque. If you have valid cheque then you can work out on this case legally.

We have to send a lawyer notice to that person to whom you lent the amount. We have to wait for the reply for another 15 days.if he does not reply to our notice we can send one more notice. Then we can file a case against him.

Hello,

Your WhatsApp Message is sufficient to file a money suit only.
If you have cheque received from your friend it would be much better, but it is too late, since they are alert now. There is solution for your problem.
