Regarding ACR of ASI in punjab police
26-Jul-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
ACR of period 16/11/1997 to 31/03/1998 was conveyed to me after 3 years and 4 months. But i never appealed as it never affected my carrer. Now according to high courts judgement our seniority is revised and now it is affecting my carrer as i was about to be promoted as dsp. My point is that acr was not converted to me at proper time so it is invalid.

It is correct to say that adverse ACR has to inform to individual. It was the fault of the department to informed you later but it was the duty of individual to appeal against the adversed ACR. Now it is delayed.

there are two aspects of your question. one is ACR and second is seniority. You are saying that seniority is revised then how that ACR is coming in way of promotion now. there must be some fresh order ? or is it just your apprehension that Adverse entry in ACR would hamper your promotion. in my view you can challenge any fresh order but not that entry due to time gap.
