The Will can be drafted and Executed both in india and abroad to have maximum efficiency and minimum complications in future. It is always advisable to include different properties in the Wills to avoid confusion.

As an OCI holder, you may execute a Will in India without being physically present by signing before Indian Embassy/Notary abroad or through POA. Cost/process depend on assets, drafting & registration requirements.

No, you don't need to physically be present to execute the Will as the registration of will is not mandatory in india. Only the cost of drafting a precise will in relation to your properties present in india needs to be mentioned appropriately and the same can be executed wherever you reside.

If you are an OCI card holder, yes you can create WILL in India, but you will be required to be present or give a power of attorney to another person who can appear if you wanted registered otherwise if you wanted notarised or stamped, you can take your draft will and get it signed and verified by officer in Indian embassy in your country, but for it to be registered and legally enforceable without any challenge you need to be present in India, as this noticed or signed and verified by officer can be challenge easily and can be questioned

Being an OCI holder, you can create a Will in India. Your physical presence is generally preferred at the time of execution and registration; however, the process may also be completed through a valid Power of Attorney in certain circumstances. The cost and procedure depend upon the nature of assets, drafting requirements, and whether registration is opted for.
