Housing society maintenance fee for locked flats

Sir, i have flat in pune, maharashtra but it is locked now and no one staying since last 6 months. But my housing society still demanding maintenance per month. By law, can they still ask maintenance for flat in which no one staying?
Hello, yes definitely the society can ask for the maintenance it does not depend if the house is vacant or in use the society divides the maintenance to all the flat member equally wherein to run the society the water bill, electricity charges etc has to be borne by every member equally.
