Will income tax be imposed in buying a house worth Rs 30 lacs?

If i am buying a house in my wifes name for thirty lacs is there any income tax enquiry
IF YOUR WIFE A WORKING LADY THEN LOAN WILL BE GIVEN AS PER THE BANK NORMS AND IF YOU WANT TO TAKE LOAN ON YOUR NAME AND PROPERTY IN HER NAME THEN YOU HAVE TO BE A CO-APPLICANT /CO-BORROWER. IF YOU PURCHASE IT FROM YOUR OWN POCKET THEN YOU HAVE TO SHOW THE AMOUNT IN YOUR IT RETURNS AND FROM WHERE YOU GOT SO MUCH AMOUNT.
