As per state amendment Act 1985, a women have a right to ask for share in joint family property. But if the property partitioned though registered deed before Act came into force and women got married before Act came into force she cannot demand for partition. From 1985 in Andhrapradesh daughter have given a right to ask partition. Your father is died in 2005 as such they eligible to demand their share joint family properties
