Review the Agreement: Carefully review the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement of sale. Pay attention to any clauses regarding the consequences of delay in registration or cancellation of the agreement.

Communicate with the Buyer: Engage in open communication with the buyer to understand their concerns and try to resolve the issue amicably. Express your reasons for not wanting to transfer the property and discuss the possibility of returning the token money.

Send a Legal Notice: If the buyer continues to insist on registration and threatens legal action, you may consider sending a legal notice through your attorney. The notice can explain your position, state your intention to cancel the agreement, and request the return of the token money. This notice can serve as a formal communication indicating your stance on the matter.

Seek Legal Advice: Consult with a lawyer who specializes in property law to understand the specific legal options available to you. They can guide you on the relevant laws, potential consequences, and steps you can take to protect your interests.

Remember, the specific legal remedies and options available to you may depend on the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction and the terms of the agreement you entered into.
