In the obsence of conditions in the gift deed, the property distributed as per succssion rules under Hindu Succession Act 1956. In your case your father property is treated as his self acquired and distributed as per succession rules

The gift executed by the son during 1978 has become absolute ad the title in the property passes to the father. If your father died leaving behind a will, the property shall devolve as per the will, subject to its authenticity and further subject to the personal religious laws. You have not stated the same.

Hi,

if the property once gifted then it will become property of father, after father was died without any will related to share of the property then all legal heirs can claim their share in the said property.
