Want to know the right of son on father's self acquired property

My grandfather purchase a house from his own income after his death house was divided by family partiton amongst his son including my father.my father has sold that house and purchase new one.now i have dispute wd my wife .i want to know can my son claim or have any right on new house?
yes when he will get the majority age .from birth he has a rIght but if the property will be name on your name than he will forfeit it.. . . . . . .
