Validity of Sale deed done by GPA holder

08-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
A freehold plot (conveyance deed made) was 'transferred' via GPA and SPA by person A to person B. Person B sold this property (4 floors) to 4 different people 20 years ago and a registered sale deed for this sale exists. Person C owns one of these floors and wants to sell it further now. Will the sale deed between B and C be considered valid? Can the GPA issued from A to B be revoked now? Is the property legally safe to purchase from person C? Thanks.

The person in whose favour the sale deed was executed will be considered to be the rightful owner of the property. GPA has got no value these days. You have to show the property papers before I can comment upon the legality of the property. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Your query seems to be quite complicated, thus would advise you to get the property papers legally verified and seek a detailed consultation from a lawyer before proceeding further for buying the property.

This GPA can’t be revoked now.
GPA would have revoked before the initial sale deed 20 years ago.
Yes sale deed between B & C will be considered valid.
Is it is safe to purchase this property according to facts narrated by you !
