Tenant not vacating from my shop ......

I gave shop to a person who is a neighbour of me.
He is not vacating the shop and haven't gave the rent since 1.5 years
What should i can do in this situation ?
Should I go to police ?
Also Rent agreement not signed.
on the above mentioned query please give a notice to the tenant as early as possible for vacation of the house or shop . After 30 days of serving of the notice, if the tenant is not vacates the property in question, please file immediately a suit for ejectment in the concerned court.
