Property transfer from one co-owner to another

My brother and i share a commercial property in Ahmedabad. By mutual consent he is willing to give his share of property to me as a GIFT. Do i need to pay stamp duty for the same ? if yes, will it be payable on half the price or on the full price ?

You need to get the gift deed registered in the concern registrar office by paying the stamp duty at the rate applicable for half the share .
Please check in some state transfer between blood relation is free or is at subsidized rate .
