Property transfer based on Will and Originals

25-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Our grandmother wrote in her will that the house that we reside in shall be transferred in the name of our father upon her death. Unfortunately, our father passed away and the will and the original property parts are with us. We have been living in this house in Uttam Nagar for 20 years now. Our father has only one brother. Thus, we would like to know that as the Will mentions that the property shall transfer in our fathers name and as he is no more, does the property automatically get transferred to his heirs? What is the process of transferring the property in our name?

Hello, I have perused your query. In these circumstances your father died intestate which means the said property now belongs to all class one legal heirs equally. In other words all the legal heir are entitled to equal share now.
