My maternal grandmother and grandfather jointly owned a home in Kalyan since 1990. Grandfather expired in 2011 and grandmother expired in 2019. My mother is there only childGrandmother had created a will in Gujarati language to transfer all her assets to her daughter including the home. The will was notarized but not registered. Grandmother's home is transferred to her daughter in the society but we want to also update the same in corporation records to get property tax on mother's nameCorporation is not accepting the will (citing the reason of will being in Gujarati as well as unregistered) and asking for a succession certificate* Is it a valid ask from corporation ?n* Does will's language matter and registration mandatory to transfer the property in corporation?n* Isn't there any other way such that the current will is acceptable for transferring the name in corporation record?
