You did not specify the status of the property. Is this a house or flat or plot of land. Are you planning to buy from someone, or is it just a transfer of property by a gift deed. Please contact me with all this details. Registration fees - cost of stamp duty and official charges are based on market value of the property. Beside there's an additional charges for preparing conveyance deed by the advocates. Before buying any property, my advice, engage a lawyer for proper due diligence of the property's title and a public notice for title search in 2 newspaper, is a must, to avoid an sort of litigation in future from hidden claimers. By way of registered deed in which the registration charge will be 1% of the total valuation of the property, stamp duty will be 7%, advocate will charge you atleast 1% and then there after registry charges of Registrat of Assurence which may be around 8000... so in total 9% of the property plus 8k ... if interested call through lawrato...
