Procedure to sell property having only having tax receipts

Dear sir, I am resident of hyderabad. My father is dead. We are paying tax for past 10 years. We only have that. I recently came to know that ours is patta land and I dont have patta only tax recipt of 10 years in ghmc is avaialble with me. Now I want to sell this property or atleast have to register it. How can I do it. Property is in the name of my mother.
