Procedure for executing Gift deed in favour of mother

What documentation is required for a hindu major married daughter to gift property to mother and is stamp duty to be paid on it? Does the mother become absolute owner thereafter?

yes definately she will be absolute owner, if you gift your property in her name. the stamp duty is 3-4% of current circle value of the said property. moreover, the gift deed is a title document without considerstion but their is no one to challamge it, if you are the absolute owner of your property

yes she will become the absolute owner of the property. cal on nine 711 nine 380 nine eight, you have to pay 3 4 % of stamp duty on current circle rste of the property. the gift deed is a title document which shall be transferred in your mother name
