We are having 3 acre's of land. My neighbors were used to travel in my land as a shortcut for long time (20+ years). Now I'm planning to construct compond wall but they are objecting and claiming that they need 24ft road in it. Can I close the road ? or Can I claim money for the land I loose by giving road to purasabha ?

You close that road and fence your land immdiatly You should also be aware of the laws of adverse possession. If a person has used a portion of your land for a period of time, as identified by state law, he could claim title to it when the statute of limitations for ejection has passed. This often protects fences built off the property boundaries.
