Mutation of inherited land+house in absence of will question

01-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
This is with respect to West Bengal Property laws. My father died 2 weeks back leaving son (me; adult) and daughter (adult; unmarried). Mother passed away earlier. What is the process and FEES involved in mutation of title deed for Land Records purpose. Do I need to pay any fees which depends on the value of the property or do I need to pay only application fees??? I have been told that revenue officials inflate the property price estimation to get more fees? Is that true? Do I need to pay fees based on property price? We want to get the mutation done in name of me and my sister. There is no will. We are the only legal heir.

Since your mother and father both passed away you both have the right over the property. For mutation you have to only fill up the form and paid the official charges. You are only need to give application fees. For further information you have to contact with advocate
