Is property from gift deed,becomes self acquired

I belong to Hindu religion.My father had a self acquired property.(house)He gifted this property,to my mother through gift deed.After my father's death My mother sold this and purchased another site and constructed a house.Is this house ,becomes a self acquired one.We are three children.Can my mother make a gift deed or a will,to any of her children who takes care of her.Please reply Thanking you Yours faithfully
