Q: my mother brought this land but now someone has illegally occupied
i have filed a case in year 2021 the defendant has illegally built a shed in my property he has confronted in the court that it is not his property and he is ready to buy it from us for lower value our property is 5 cents and he demands it for 2 lakh .now we have a govt lawyer but she does not inform us about the case she always says that there is no need to attend the court is it possible to chose the govt lawyer whom i need or i should i go with the one assigned by the govt

Q: NRI selling property in Bangalore and reinvesting in Bangalore
Is a US based NRI who is selling their property in Bangalore and reinvesting in Bangalore(within the stipulated time as mandated), still liable to pay taxes on capital gains on the sale? I thought just reported the sale in the US was enough, but i am not sure.

Q: RERA has issued refund order but builder has not responded
I have received the RERA order for refund of my amount from the property owner. But Its been more than 45 days I have not received any response or refund from the builder. What is the next step I need to take. I saw multiple responses here asking to move in different directions which is confusing. Can someone please let me know what action should I take next as I have't seen any response from the builder yet on RERA judgement?

File an execution case against them and the tribunal will issue notice and take necessary action against them and find out whether they have filed appeal or not, if appeal filed and order stayed you have to appear before appellate authority
Q: Cheque bounce case convicted Judgement
Hello, Judgement is passed in magistrate court and i am convicted. I just want to know what is the next step. If i apply in session court what is the procedure, should i deposit any amount? My lawyer states that i need to deposit 20% of claiming amount(Cheque amount) . Is it trueSince i am convicted how much time will i get to pay the amount that is cheque amount

Yes as per the law you have to deposit the twenty percent of cheque amount for suspension of sentence , time frame cannot be estimated it’s totally depend on case to case and even court and judges, follow up your advocate or try to get matter settled
