Duplicate Share Certificate for Shop in Co OpHousing Society

Sir, Previous owner misplaced Share Certificate for his shop located in Co op Housing society. He sold his shop to new owner with Indemnity bond saying his share cerificate is misplaced.. Sale deed got registered in presence of registrar & Seller Previous owner left India (Moved to UK) Can Society transfer shop in the name of New owner? New owner want duplicate share cerificate from society.. What is the procedure for issuing Duplicate Share certificate in above case. No FIR filed by previous owner.. & new owner can not file FIR bcoz certificate is not in his own name. Sir Please give your valuable advise in this matter.. Thanks!! Hitesh Parmar 9920988446

You can apply to society for duplicate certificate on the basis of sale deed.If name of previous owner transferred then current owner can demand duplicate share certificate.Therefore management committee of society must give sanction.
