A person who leaves in Canada for last 15 years (basically from Mumbai), presently at Mumbai would like to execute POA in favor of his cousin brother for executing Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreement. Can he give Power to his cousin brother who leaves in Mumbai or Blood relation is necessary. plz tell me to whom power of attorney can be given ?

No,Any person can be appointed as Power of Attorney by you.There is not require of blood relation for appointing Power of attorney.Therefore you can appoint any person as Power of Attorney.You can give Power of Attorney to your cousin brother.

Can a divorce be granted ex parte if the wife is in India and the husband is abroad? The marriage was solemnized in India and registered in BMC. The husband and wife have been living apart for two years. Can the wife file for divorce in Mumbai and obtain an ex parte divorce if the husband does not return to India? Is a cooling-off period of 6 months required even if the couple is living separately?

1) You already residing separately for two years.Therefore that separation period shall be ground for getting divorce.That ground shall be desertion by your husband.2) You can file divorce petition in family court, Bandra,Mumbai.3) In divorce petition court can grant exparte order of divorce if your husband not appear and file say and evidence in court.

You can't draft and send letter to Court. You should have to file contemp petition in Court in person or through Lawyer.You are not stated your query about maintenance. What is the order passed by Court and against whom.What types of document Court ordered to provide you.If it is a maintenance Order.Then it can be obtained from Court.

Yes,If you have got OBC certificate from UP government. Then it is legal certificate.You are eligible to apply in central government.But if you got job then caste scrutiny certificate is necessary.
