Yes, father in law has the power to annul the gift deed executed in the favour of daughter in law. under senior citizens act, 2007, Section 23 of the Act, 2007 gives power to the senior citizen to seek the annulment or transfer of the property thereby, on the grounds of non- maintainability and ill behaviour with the senior citizen. An application to this effect will be made before the maintainance tribunal and an order will be seek regarding the declaration as to transfer of the property as null and void and eviction of the daughter in law thereof.

Hello, I have perused your query.
In the present circumstances :

After the gift deed has been executed it cannot be cancelled unilaterally. However, if the donor and donee are into a positive agreement to cancel the gift deed then it may be cancelled by executing a deed of cancellation.

Once executed, a gift deed cannot be revoked. A Court could however revoke it if they can prove that it was done by unjust means, such as threats, intimidation, or force. A dispute between the donor and recipient will not be enough to have it quashed.
