In case of purchase of the Agricultural Property, one must look into Section 79 A and B of the Karnataka Land Reform Act.

Section 79 A deals with the Income of the purchaser

Section 79 A
No person who or a Family or Joint Family which as assured annual income of not less than Rs. 2,00,000/- ( and the same is amended in the year 2015 and limit increased to Rs.25,00,000/-) from source other than agricultural lands shall be entitle to acquire any land whether as land owner.,land lord, tenant or mortgage with possession or other or partly in one capacity and partly in another

and Section 79 B

No person other than a person cultivating land personally shall be entitled to hold land

Please clarify the same before purchase and your can purchase the said land.
