22-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My cousin brother got property from his mother. Initially, 50% property registered on his name and before her death reaming 50% wrote will on his name. This is 25 years back happened. Now he wanted to develop the property. But now sisters threatening him to give the property. The property is from grandfather to father, and father to mother, from mother to my cousin brother. Can his sisters stop development of property by putting a case on him?

Yes, women have equal right on ancestral property. if not them their kids can also come for partition but there is limit to challenge the will or transfer of property. Transactions can only be challenged with in three years from execution date or date of knowledge. A better suggestion can be provided if you can share the will.
